Honorable Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed said, the European Union (EU) has decided to increase their investment in Bangladesh. Moreover it will encourage different British companies to invest here. As a result, there will be huge opportunities to expand the market for Bangladeshi goods in EU market.
Thursday afternoon, March 10 at a press conference at the Secretariat, Honorable Minister shared this with the audience. EU Ambassador Pierre Miyadu was present at the occasion.
Commerce Minister said given the investment friendly environment of the country, EU has decided to increase investment here. It is definitely a good sign for Bangladesh’s economy.
Ambassador Pierre Miyadu said EU is at good economic relations with Bangladesh. We would like to enhance this relationship in future. We currently provide a number of export facilities to Bangladesh. We are sincere to expand these across multiple sectors. This relationship will benefit the economic development of the country.
