The Department of Energy ("DOE" or ''the Department'') is revising its existing regulations to remove certain reporting requirements imposed on exempt consumer external power supplies (''EPSs'') adopted under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, as amended.The effective date of this rule is 28 May 2026.91 Federal Register (FR) 22703, 28 April 2026; Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 429
