SRO No. 143-Law/2015/23/Customs – In accordance with VAT Act, 1991 and Customs Act, 1969 (Act No. IV of 1969) – Section 19, the government upon due consultation with NBR has decided to modify the SRO No. 158-Law/2008/2189/Tax as follows:

In the above mentioned circulation:

a.     The phrase ‘3%’ will be replaced by ‘5%’

b.     ‘Or Nationwide Telecommunication Transmission Network (NTTN)’ will be added after the phrase “International Internet Gateway (IIG)”

c.      Heading No. 85.44 of Table 1 and relevant entries in column 2 and 3 will be removed.

d.     In the appendix-1, “/Nationwide Telecommunication Transmission Network (NTTN)” will be replaced by “International Internet Gateway (IIG)”

e.     In the appendix-3, “/Nationwide Telecommunication Transmission Network (NTTN)” will be replaced by “International Internet Gateway (IIG)”
