The Bangladesh Trade Portal (BTP) is an official source of all regulatory information relevant to traders who wish to import goods into Bangladesh or export to other countries. Egypt: Ministerial Decree No. 248/2025 that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 3-5 "Processed feeds- animal feeding stuffs - part 5: barley kernels in animal feed"

This standard specifies the basic requirements and descriptive criteria for barley kernels used in the manufacture of feed and raw feed materials.It is worth mentioning that this standards complies with:Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Decree No. 1498/1996 regarding the regulation, manufacture, circulation and control of feed;USDA Grain Inspection Handbook Book 11 Barley 2013Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
