Revision to the Act for Mutual Recognition between Japan and Foreign States on the Results of Conformity Assessments for Specified Equipment.

The notification (G/TBT/N/JPN/793) is withdrawn due to the following reason:The newly revised Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Act will include a provision that an “international certificate” stipulated in Article 35 of the Act for Mutual Recognition between Japan and Foreign States on the Results of Conformity Assessments for Specified Equipment (MRA Act) is treated equally as the certificate issued by the foreign registered conformity assessment bodies registered under the Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Act. This notification is related to the revision of the Electrical Appliances and Materials Safety Act and its revision is included in the notification G/TBT/N/JPN/790.
