The Bangladesh Trade Portal (BTP) is an official source of all regulatory information relevant to traders who wish to import goods into Bangladesh or export to other countries. The Ministry of Commerce of the Bangladesh Government has established the Portal in order to improve the predictability and transparency of the country’s trading laws and processes.

Port restrictions on export of goods from Bangladesh


1. All HS codes of Ready Made Garments (RMG)
2. Fruit/Fruit flavoured and Carbonated Drinks
3. Processed food items (Baked goods, Snacks, Chips and Confectionary)
4. Cotton and Cotton Yarn Waste
5. Plastic and PVC finished goods, except pigments, dyes, plasticisers and granules that form input for own industries
6. Wooden furniture
