Indonesia: Draft Decree of Minister of Industry on Mandatory Implementation of Indonesian National Standard for Audio, Video and Similar Electronic Apparatus

Regulation of Minister of Industry No 15 of 2018 has been revoked and replaced by Regulation of Minister of Industry No. 75 Year 2024 regarding Mandatory Implementation of Indonesia National Standard for Audio Video. :The Regulation covers the issuance of SNI certificate using type 5 and 1 n certification scheme, production process assessment and implementation of ISO 9001:2015 or atau IATF 16949:2016 , including product quality testing based on:SNI IEC 62368-1:2014 Audio/video, information and communication technology equipment – Part 1: Safety requirement which has a tariff post/harmonized system (HS) number : For the television set : 

a. 8528.72.91;

b. ex. 8528.72.92; and

c. ex. 8528.72.99.For Disc player digital versatile disc (DVD) and blue-ray disc player : 

a. ex. 8521.90.19; and

b. ex. 8521.90.99.For Car tape : 

a. ex. 8527.21.00; and

b. ex. 8527.29.00.For Active speakers :

a. ex. 8518.21.10;

b. ex. 8518.21.90;

c. ex. 8518.22.10;

d. ex. 8518.22.90; and

e. ex. 8518.29.90.For Set top box : ex. 8528.71.11.Domestic or imported Audio Video products produced before this regulation may still be distributed for a maximum of 1 (one) year from the enforcement date.
